Evaluation of free Metasearch engines specialized in Health Sciences

It´s a known fact that in the world of advanced information retrieval (search engines, metasearch engines, databases, etc) the appearance of new resources, apparently with a great utility for scientific information search, which are free ont the web. The daily work of librarians leaves little time for the evaluation of resources this means that on numerous occasions, they even recommend using resources that they have not been able to analyze in detail its function and content criteria selection. Therefore this study is to analyze some of the specialized search engines in the health sciences freely through Internet, to ensure its quality and know which ones offer the best results.Downloads
