A model is proposed for analyzing online journalism from the perspective of suitability for certain quality parameters and, especially, in relation to certain indicators on the adoption of the characteristic features of web 2.0. This model has been tested with the analysis of eight online newspapers and the results are presented. The model has a modular nature, which permits its application, in whole or in part, to other research projects.
