Abstract

The experience and results of the development and implementation of a technical-documentary information management system in the enterprise Nuclenor (Power plant of Santa Marí­a of Garoña) are presented. In order to share knowledge and contribute as far as possible to the dissemination of this kind of systems in other enterprises and organizations, we explain the organizational strategy and objectives defined by Nuclenor to carry out this project, and analyze the functional requirements of the system. From a technical perspective the development methodology used and the support technological model of the system is presented. Finally, we review the results and benefits of the project for the enterprise, and comment the research lines currently open.
