Innovation does not only apply to technology. In public libraries, exploring and developing new links with the community, promoting new services, designing new models of internal communication or talent management, changing corporate image, or promoting organizational learning are also important areas of innovation. These activities are already recognized as crucial for innovating in the new "knowledge society". As a result, when we talk about innovation in public libraries it is necessary to consider it from a triple point of view: as an organization of services, in relation to its social function as an integral part of the community, and as a center for entertainment, information and learning.
