Besides Fecyt, the participating institutions were Cindoc, Universidad Alcala de Henares, Universidad Carlos III, Universidad de Extremadura, Universidad de Granada and Polytechnic University of Valencia -Ciepi Group-. The topics covered were: technological tools to manage institution names, a proposal for the classification of research organisations and some recommendations to standardise the registration of organisation names. Finally, the creation of a permanent National Platform on Scientometrics was suggested.
