Abstract

The phenomenon of the blogs has represented one of the best communications actions of the so-called Web 2.0. They appeared in a meek almost timid fashion as an informative element of a personal nature and later on as a professional one, too. In the meantime, the printed press began to experience a period of uncertainty. The digital media discovered a type of information which was of interest to the readers, who were already accustomed to the use and consumption of technology that facilitated news on different supports: newspapers on Internet, information on social networks, informative documents on video, etc. The way the blog phenomenon opened up its own niche among the readers of digital press, through the State of Blogosphere 2009, by Technorati, is studied, and especially how they have been implemented in the digital newspapers, which have gone from just a limited number of blogs to having their own section. The results of a study of the blogs in the leading Spanish digital newspapers are offered.
