One of the aims proposed in the project of Digitalization of RTVV's Audio-visual Documentation was to migrate the information that throughout the years we had been describing, cataloguing, indexing in BRS's different databases. We were relying on the work of unification and normalization approached in the year 2004 when we passed from BRS/search version 7.0 to the environment BKM v.3.1. From our experience, we know that a TV Archive is of a major quality as the documentary answer covers both the current information ad also the restrospective. Therefore, a especific workflow is created to digitize the images contained in the tapes Betacam tapes from the xml file generated in the new Tarsys system in an automated way.Downloads
