Abstract

It describes the evolution of MIAR (Matriu d´Informació per l´Avaluació de Revistes) project, a system originally designed to quantify the data base coverage of humanities and social sciences journals, that once analyzed the present Spanish resources for the evaluation of journals, could evolve into a collaborative portal in which editors, authors and readers can spread the main features of the journals in which they participate directly or indirectly. The ways for the project transformation are the use of social networks, voting or comments systems and technologies as Open Linked Data, enabling greater diffusion and socialization of the data collected for each publication. In this way data can be used by the three groups most directly concerned: the evaluators, publishers and authors / readers of the publications.
