Analysis and recommendations on the best current software solutions for image archives.

By means of the investigation in Internet of the current market of programs related to the image management, we have tried to find the best software solutions for the description, diffusion and promotion of a photographic archive. With the experience obtained from using and configuring these programs and with the evaluation of the requirements established previously, a list of the most adaptable and versatile software has been elaborated, having the added value of being capable of growing. In addition we have been able to contribute with establishing the criteria and recomendations to determine which of them are better for every type of archive, like one of a public or private institution, agency or personal archive.Downloads
