Abstract

The agencies and photo libraries offer millions of documents available for your use and application. During the last decade, this sector has changed radically due to the impact of the latest technologies and to the globalization of the business in general, by renewing structures and investing in digitalization. At the same time, new marketing models have been created with offers subject to royalties or free of charge. This article studies the use and application in advertising of the stock photos, adopting as a reference seven agencies and photo libraries of different sizes and with different goals. This will make it possible for us to discover how they have carried out their internal reconversion, their current work methods and the perspectives for the future.
