Abstract

The documentary collections from the media have become a source of essential information for research. Scholars of contemporary history found in them the official información and the opinion of opponents of the government in power that allows us to compare, refine and supplement their research. Some collections can be found in media which is now difficult to reproduce, as in the case at hand in this project at the University of Alicante. Radio broadcasts preserved on open-reel tapes need already disappeared technical means, and the reproduction of the original source involves progressive destruction, so that the digitization of this content, and its technical approach to starting open access constitutes a high-value element for researchers.
