The IweTel mailing list (2001-2007): A content analysis

In this article is presented the evolution of the mailing list IweTel, including a description of its evolution and how it has been used by subscribers, through a content analysis of messages sent from 2001 to 2007. The study shows the list to be used mainly for professional communication and information exchange and, overall, by universitary community. However, it also reveals a surprising lack of active participation by those subscribed. On the other hand, list management even developed debates are improved in the last years.Downloads
